Our Story
Architectural Precision for the Colorado Horizon
A sophisticated, design-forward architectural advisor — editorial and confident, educating and inspiring first, selling quietly.
Alta Vetro was built around a specific belief: that luxury architectural doors and windows — the same class of large-format, thermally broken systems specified into $10M+ estates — should be within reach for the design-conscious homes being built across Colorado. Accessible luxury is the phrase we've settled on for the position, and it is the entire framing of what we do.
We supply architectural doors and windows for custom homes and light commercial projects across Colorado, from mountain-resort markets like Aspen, Vail, Telluride, Steamboat, and Breckenridge to the Front Range residential estate corridor of Denver, Boulder, Cherry Hills Village, and Colorado Springs. Every specification is configured to the project — panel dimensions, glass, finish, hardware, threshold detail — and every install is coordinated through our manufacturer-certified partner, The Install Company.
The systems themselves are what carry the position. Thermally broken aluminum construction throughout the premium series. NFRC-certified performance across the product lines. CW-PG55 commercial-grade performance available on the bi-fold and demanding specifications. Altitude-specific IGU detailing standard on Colorado mountain-county projects. Seventy-plus door design styles and twelve-plus designer finishes plus custom colors, so the specification fits the architecture rather than the other way around.
How We Work
Every Alta Vetro project starts with a design consultation. Bring us the plans, the architect, or a napkin sketch. In one or two working sessions we walk through the architecture, the openings the design is asking for, the finish palette, and the specific configuration decisions that shape the specification — glass, hardware, threshold detail, structural context. The specification comes with a price at the end of that conversation, not before it.
From there, the pathway is direct: specification package to the architect, order placement, custom fabrication (typically 6-12 weeks), delivery coordinated to the framer's rough opening completion, and certified installation through The Install Company. The whole coordination is closed within the same pathway, so the GC receives one integrated timeline rather than two disaggregated vendor schedules.
This is the position we hold. Accessible luxury, engineered for the peaks, delivered through a coordinated supply-and-install pathway. It is what makes Alta Vetro a specification a project owner or architect can rely on from consultation through year twenty.

The Studio
Consulting from Denver, Serving Colorado
Alta Vetro is based in Denver and consults on projects across the state. Design consultations are typically held at your architect's studio, on-site at the project, or in our Denver space — whichever fits the way you and your team work best.
For architects, builders, and GCs specifying an Alta Vetro package, the pathway is set up to hand over cleanly at each stage — from schematic to construction documents to installation. We can be as involved or as hands-off as the project's team is asking for.
